Football world cup
The football World Cup, also known as the FIFA World Cup (often shortened to World Cup) is an international association football competition. It is held every four years and is organized by the Fédération Internationale de Football Association (FIFA).
The first edition took place in Uruguay in 1930.
Brazil is the team that holds the most titles (5), followed by Italy, the defending champion since 2006.
In 2010, the World Cup took place in South Africa. The 2014's edition (2014) was hosted by Brazil. In 2018 the World Cup was hosted by Russia and will be hosted by Qatar in 2022.
