Virginia

Virginia is a state in the eastern United States. As of 2015, it had 8,382,993 people.[1]

Richmond is the state capital, but Virginia Beach is the most populous city. Other large cities include Norfolk and Chesapeake.

Virginia is bordered by Maryland and the District of Columbia (Washington, D.C.) to the northeast, the Atlantic Ocean to the east, North Carolina to the south, Tennessee to the southwest, Kentucky to the west, and West Virginia to the northwest.
