Louisiana

Louisiana is a state in the south central United States. As of 2015, it had 4,670,724 people.[1]

Baton Rouge is the state capital, but the largest city is New Orleans. Other large cities include Shreveport, Lafayette, and Metairie (a city in the urban area of New Orleans).

Louisiana is bordered by Arkansas to the north, Mississippi to the east, the Gulf of Mexico to the south, and Texas to the west.
