Illinois

Illinois is a state in the midwestern United States. In 2015, it had 12,859,995 people.[1]

The state capital is Springfield, but the largest city is Chicago.

Illinois is bordered by Wisconsin to the north, Lake Michigan to the northeast, Indiana to the east, Kentucky to the southeast, Missouri to the southwest, and Iowa to the northwest.
