California

California is a state on the west coast of the United States. It is the most populous state and the third largest state, after Alaska and Texas. In 2015, it had 39,144,818 people.[1]

Sacramento is the state capital, and Los Angeles is the largest city. Other large cities include San Diego, San Jose, and San Francisco.

California is bordered by Oregon to the north, Nevada to the east, Arizona to the southeast, Mexico to the south, and the Pacific Ocean to the west.
