pieart (transitive or intransitive, 1st conjugation, present piearu, piear, piear, past piearu)

  1. to move close (to something) while plowing
    pieart pie kaimiņu robežasto plow as far as, close to, the border with the neighbors
    ap pusdienas laiku viņš man piara klātaround noon he plowed close to me
  2. to add (some area, to some other area) by plowing
    pieart kādu strēmeli klāt pie esoša laukato add (by plowing) some strip (of land) to the existing field
