- (wrestling, martial arts) A clinch hold performed by putting an arm over the opponent's arm, and encircling the opponent's arm or upper body.

- He used overhooks to block the punches, but he didn't seem to know any submissions off the overhooks.
Usage notes
- A single overhook uses one arm; a double overhook uses both arms.
