Inherited from Ottoman Turkish نظراً (naẓaran),[1][2][3] from Arabic نَظَرًا (naẓaran), adverbial accusative of نَظَر (naẓar, vision, look, gaze), verbal noun of نَظَرَ (naẓara).[4]
