From Ottoman Turkish موجبنجه, from Ottoman Turkish موجب (mucib, necessity; motive), from Arabic مُوجِب (mūjib), active participle of أَوْجَبَ (ʔawjaba).

Equivalent to mucip (necessity; motive) + -i (possessive suffix) + -n- (themactic consonant) + -ce (adverb-forming suffix)
