luego de

Preposition
- (Argentina, Mexico, Dominican Republic) after, following
- Necesito relajarme luego de un día tan ocupado en el trabajo.
- I need to relax after such a busy day at work.
- Me mudé luego de que nos casamos.
- I moved in after we got married.

Usage notes
- "Luego de que" triggers the present subjunctive if the action has not yet been completed. Occasionally, you may come across a speaker or writer using the imperfect subjunctive with luego de que for a completed action, but the RAE strongly recommends against that archaism.
