  1. (Britain) An annual book produced showing the results for the year's horse races together with comments on each runner.
  2. (Britain, figurative) The past performance of something or someone.
    It is a certainty, given the form book, that this prime minister will be condemning us to many more months of wage restraint.
  3. (US, law) A binder of loose-leaf forms, or a book containing specimens of such forms, for use by attorneys in their work.
