Etymology

From Proto-Albanian *tˢira, from Proto-Indo-European *ḱerh₂- (to mix). Cognate with Ancient Greek κεράννυμι (keránnumi, to mix), Sanskrit श्रायति (śrāyati, to cook, fry).[1]
