Borrowed from Andalusian Arabic الدار الصنعة (ad-dár aṣ-ṣánʕa), from دار الصناعة (dár aṣ-ṣináʕa), from Arabic دَار اَلصِّنَاعَة (dār aṣ-ṣināʕa, literally house of industry). Cognate to Catalan drassana.
