From a Slavic language, e.g. Belarusian кравец (kravjec, “tailor”), Ukrainian кравець (kravecʹ, “tailor”), Slovak kravec (“tailor”), or Polish krawiec (“tailor”). Ultimately from Proto-Slavic *kravьcь.
