Get in

  • 🌍 Ureshino Onsen Station (嬉野温泉駅). This is a stop on the Nishi-Kyushu Shinkansen. It is an isolated station with no connections to any JR Lines. By bus, it can be reached from Takeo-Onsen Station in Takeo or Hizen-Kashima Station in Kashima. Some Fukuoka-Nagasaki buses also stop here.

  • 🌍 Yoshida Hyakunen-zakura (吉田の百年桜, 納戸料の百年桜, Nandoryo no Hyakunen Sakura), 嬉野町大字下野甲716-1. A tree lives a hundred years.
  • 🌍 Hizen Yume Kaido (元祖忍者村 肥前夢街道), 嬉野町大字下野甲716-1. M, W-F 9:30 – 16:00; Sa, Su, holidays 9:30 - 17:00. A theme park of ninjas. If you visit Ureshino and your children are interested in ninjas, it won't hurt to visit the park. ¥600 for children, ¥1,100 for adults.
  • 🌍 Toyotamahime Shrine (豊玉姫神社), 嬉野町大字下宿乙2231-2. A small shrine worships Toyotamahime. There's a white statue called Namasu, which says that you will have beautiful skin if you touch the statue.

There are plenty of ryokans to choose from, as the town is famous for hot springs. Travellers can expect hot springs in a ryokan.

  • 🌍 Wataya Besso (和多屋別荘), 738 Shimoshuku Otsu, Ureshino-cho (嬉野町下宿乙738), +81 954-42-0210, fax: +81 954-42-0108. Check-in: 15:00, check-out: 10:00. The 118-room ryokan has 20,000 Pyeong (66,116 m2 (711,670 ft²)). It has a museum, a library, Japanese traditional experience programs, and many other leisure facilities. Four restaurants and a bar in the hotel serve different cuisines at different times. No shuttles from any sites. Visitors should come to the ryokan by themselves. ¥12,000~¥36,000.
