Toyooka (豊岡) is a city in northern Hyogo, facing the Sea of Japan.

By plane
Tajima Airport (TJH IATA) serves Toyooka and its area with two direct flights a day to Itami Airport (ITM IATA) in Osaka.
By car
This city is connected by Kitakinki-Toyooka Expressway.
By train
The Sanin Main Line provides a JR rail connection to Kyoto, and direct trains to Osaka are available via Fukuchiyama. Direct Express trains take about 2.5 hours from Osaka to Toyooka.
