Biskupin is a village in the Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeship in the Greater Poland lake district. There was a big ancient settlement from about 800 to 400 BCE a reconstruction (a part of a museum) can be visited and is the main reason for visiting. Because of large number of visitors, especially school children there are several places to sleep and eat, some of them have special attractions like live animals etc.

The village is situated approximately halfway between larger cities Bydgoszcz and Poznań.

By car

Only reliable way to reach the village as there is no public transit. Leave highway on exit 21 (Biskupin should be visible on signs) and follow main road until you reach museum.
