Salzburg is a city in Austria. It's the capital of the federal state Salzburg. The Altstadt (Old Town) of Salzburg is renowned for the old, baroque architecture. It's listed on the UNESCO World Heritage Site. Salzburg was the birthplace of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and the setting for The Sound of Music. The population is 146,631.
