Russian language

Russian (Russian: русский язык) is the official language of Russia. Along with Belarusian and Ukrainan, it belongs to the Eastern Slavic languages group.

Use outside of Russia

Russian is one of the official languages in Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan. It is widely spoken in the eastern part of Ukraine. Around 260 million people in the world speak Russian.
