Nice (Nissa in occitan) is a touristic city in south of France. This city has 344,000 inhabitants (2014) and an area of 71.92 km². Nice is the second largest city of the region Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur behind Marseille.
Economy
The economy of Nice is based on tourism (climate, beach...), commerce, and high technology activities with the technopolis Sophia Antipolis. The unemployment rate is low compared to the national French average.
