Whole Number
A Whole number or a normal number is a number that are wholes not fractions which usually are less than 1. Basically a whole number is 1 or greater. 0 is not.
Whole number examples
- 3: 3 is basically 3 wholes
- 1: 1 is 1 whole
- 4: 4 is 4 wholes.
Not whole numbers
1/2: 1 half or 1/2 is half a whole number.
1/8: 1 eighth for 1/8 is 8 times smaller than a 1.
0.25: it’s a decimal not a whole number.
