Geneva (French: Genève, German: Genf) is the second most populous city of Switzerland and the capital of the canton of Geneva. Geneva is located in the far west of Switzerland, near to the border with France. The inhabitants of Geneva speak mostly French. International organizations like the United Nations have headquarters in Geneva. The Red Cross and the Geneva Conventions are established in Geneva.
