The centre of Dublin
Dublin (Irish: Baile Átha Cliath) is the capital of the Republic of Ireland. Dublin has around half a million inhabitants. The agglomeration has 1,800,000 inhabitants. It is located on the east side of the island of Ireland.
The city has an airport (hub of national airline Aer Lingus and Ryanair). The ring road connects Dublin to the other places one the island.
