Copper

Copper is a non-magnetic gold-colored metal. It occurs in nature as the pure metal as well as in many minerals where it is usually combined with oxygen in an oxide. The metal is strong, yet soft and has many uses in the electrical industry. It is important in alloys like bronze and has been in use by humans for over 8,000 years.
