Caps Lock is a function on the computer keyboard which makes all letter keystrokes capitalized. It enables a state of Caps Lock wherein the function of the shift key is inverted and it makes letters lowercase while they are by default upper case. During a state of Caps Lock, it can be pressed again to end the state.
