Ada Lovelace

Ada Lovelace (full name: Augusta Ada King, Countess of Lovelace), born 10 December 1815 and dead 27 November 1852, wrote the first algorithm that would be processed by a machine (Charles Babbage's mechanical computer (the Analytical Engine)). As such, she is often considered as the world's first computer programmer.
