Background Information

Released in 2006, Zeroshell was developed to deliver network services through a web interface. It gained popularity for its versatility, including capabilities for VPNs, load balancing, and captive portal access.

Zeroshell was avalable for x86/x86-64 platforms as well as ARM based devices such as the Raspberry Pi.

Zeroshell's end of life was announced on April 18, 2021 and security updates were delvered up to September 30,2021.
