Background Information
Syllable, also known as Syllable Desktop, is a discontinued, lightweight operating system designed for hobbyists using Pentium processors. The operating system was origonally a fork of AtheOS, and used a file system based off of BeOS. Further development of Syllable aimed at porting additional software and libraries from AtheOS, however the project has since gone dorment around 2012.
