Background

The 11th generation of the base model Kindle eReader was released on November 2022 and features an upgraded 6-inch, 300 ppi, high-resolution display (compared to the previous generation's 167 ppi resolution). This model also doubles the storage to 16 GB (13 GB for the user) and a upgrades to a 1040 mAh battery that extends up to six weeks of use on a single charge.

Notably, the Kindle 11th Gen includes a USB-C charging port for charging and data. The eReader uses recycled materials in its construction, highlighting Amazon's commitment to environmental sustainability.

The Kindle 11th Gen comes in Black and Denim and starts at $100 USD for the "Lockscreen Ad-Supported" version.

Identification

You can identify the Kindle 11th Gen primarily by its model number: C2V2L3. You can find your Kindle's model number on the back of the device, near the charging port. Otherwise, you can go to All Settings → Device Options → Device Info and check which model you have. This generation of Kindles have the prefix G092 for their serial numbers.

Visually, the Kindle 11th Gen is very similar to the 10th Gen, with the 6-inch screen and Amazon's signature arrow on its back cover.
